Jason Kelly

Despite being told that he could not be a successful author, Jason Kelly has published a bunch of books, including his best-selling title, “The Neatest Little Guide to Stock Market Investing.” All his publications focus on stock-picking tactics, mutual fund investing, making money online, or personal finance.

Kelly’s weekly investment commentary, “The Kelly Letter,” gives subscribers insight into financial markets, stock strategies, and economic policies. His 2010 work, “Financially Stupid People Are Everywhere: Don’t Be One of Them,” offers straightforward and practical solutions for everyday finance. Despite his tough-love attitude and writing style, this man has a soft heart.

Always involved in his community, Kelly has lived in Japan since 2002. In 2011, he started Socks for Japan, which helped to deliver 160,000 care packages to earthquake and tsunami survivors. He also often visits Colorado, where he maintains a close relationship with his sister, Emily, and has invested in her coffee shop.
