Emanuel James Rohn was widely known as Jim Rohn. The public first took interest in him as the man who grew up in small-town Idaho and worked his way up until he was able to move to Beverly Hills. He shared his wisdom with millions through his writing, speaking, and mentorship.

The dozens of books that he wrote shared many of his strategies for success. However, he did not rise to those heights without help. Some of his former employers saw his potential when he was young and mentored him, and that led him to do the same for others, including Mark R. Hughes and Tony Robbins.

Besides his books and motivational speeches, Rohn’s audiobooks and video seminars also attained a global reach. While he never finished college, he also never stopped learning about people and what it takes to succeed. He died in 2009, but his influence continues to shape the personal development industry.
