Self-help readers may recognize his name from the forewords of books like “The Simple Path to Wealth” by JL Collins and “Your Money or Your Life” by Vicki Robin. His eponymous blog also has a big following.

When Adeney started blogging about his early retirement at 30 years of age, he caught the media’s interest. He and his wife at that time had been humble software engineers, only just making six figures between them. His strategy of living frugally and investing wisely created nearly a million dollars of personal wealth by then.
