Sean Covey

With such an influential father as Dr. Stephen R. Covey, it comes as no surprise that Sean Covey has grown into an equally prolific author. Likewise, a couple of his works have spent time on best-sellers lists. Covey also works as a top executive for his family’s business consulting company, FranklinCovey.

Sean Covey is well-known for the teen- and kid-oriented adaptations of his father’s “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.” However, he also teamed up with Chris McChesney and Jim Huling to write “The 4 Disciplines of Execution: Achieving Your Wildly Important Goals.” Writing and consulting take up much of his time.

Covey regularly receives invitations to speaking engagements with talk shows and large corporations alike. He and his wife, Rebecca, currently live in Alpine, Utah, and have had eight children, though their oldest daughter passed away in 2012 at age 21. The family established Bridle Up Hope: The Rachel Covey Foundation to honor her memory.
